Success for Sambro with second trade event

The miserable Manchester weather didn’t seem to out off visitors to the second Sambro trade event this week, as exhibitors reported brisk trading with 120 buyers on site.

Following last November’s successful show, the spring event proved a popular draw with a high calibre of buyers and retailers passing through the various showrooms.

As well as being able to see ranges from ten different exhibitors from across the UK, Sambro also showcased its licensed ranges offering deals for those who attended over the two days.

"We are astounded by the level of traffic through the showrooms throughout the two days," said Tom Duffy, MD at Sambro. "The feedback from our exhibitors has been really positive and the buzzing atmosphere made a great place for buyers.

"There were lots of faces old and new, and we are looking forward to an even bigger event in November."

In addition to the event, Sambro also held an exclusive One Direction competition, offering a platinum concert package for two people at the Etihad Stadium at the end of May. The lucky winner was Gary O’Connor, buyer from Heatons in Dublin.
