The toy industry charity, The Toy Trust, can now be found on Twitter as it looks to keep fundraisers, supporters and the wider market up to date with its work throughout the year.
The charity will also use its social media presence – it can be found @thetoytrust – to engage with participants before, during and after events.
The account has launched ahead of what will be the biggest fundraising event it has ever staged – The Toy Trust Isle of Wight Big Challenge, which takes place on Saturday, June 7th. The event will see 250 toy industry members take part in either a 130km bike ride, 20km walk, 20km run or a biathlon consisting of a 130km cycle ride and a 20km run.
Followers, supporters and participants can share updates about the challenge leading up to and during the event by using the hashtag #ToyTrustIOW2014.
