The Good Toy Guide is demonstrating its global reach as it takes the spotlight at this year’s International Toy Research Association Congress in Portugal.
The event held in Braga will welcome The Good Toy Guide’s CEO Dr. Amanda Gummer to the stage to deliver a presentation on ‘age difference in the use of toys as communication tools.’
Using research conducted in the Good Toy Guide play clubs, Gummer will explain how children of different ages use toys to communicate in different settings.
The July event will mark the first time that research carried out by The Good Toy Guide will be presented in an international forum.
“It will be a great opportunity for us to forge links with other international researchers and explore collaborative projects as the Good Toy Guide continues to grow rapidly,” explained Gummer.
“It is important for us and the toy companies involved in the Guide that we are at the forefront of research in this field to enable us to champion play, toys and healthy child development.”
