Shoot targets toy sector

Bulldog Licensing is bringing football brand Shoot to the toy sector.

Founded in 1969, Shoot is a football publication available through www.shoot.co.uk, and via a monthly magazine accessed on iPad and Android.

In print, Shoot is the leading football annual in the UK with additional titles including the Shoot Yearbook from Pedigree as well as Shoot’s 101 Great Footballers and Shoot’s Battle of Manchester by New Holland.

The brand is now looking to move into the toy space, and already boasts a product containing a tips and tricks book, training cones, balls and other equipment.

“Shoot is growing all the time – merchandise is performing very well across the board so there is enormous brand recognition” says Bulldog MD Rob Corney.

“Moving into the toy sector seems to be the next logical step and we are actively seeking a toy partner who would like to capitalise on the strength of this brand.”
