Creative construction toy Bizzy Bitz will be making its small screen debut with its first ever national television advertising campaign.
Running from today, the 20-second advertisement, created by InVision Advertising, will air on Turner Kids’ channels, Cartoon Network and Boomerang channels for four weeks, over the Easter school holiday period.
The 160+ spots will reach a key audience of 14 per cent of the UK four to 15 year-olds and 22 per cent of the UK four to six year-olds.
The advert follows a mother and son over a busy week as he creates structures and models from his Bizzy Bitz sets. By the end of the clip, he has created an impressive rocket and jets off into space on an adventure.
“We are very pleased with the creative concept and we feel it truly brings the brand to life for children and parents alike," said Alta Fogel, inventor of Bizzy Bitz.
"We wanted something to showcase the genuinely imaginative play that children can achieve with Bizzy Bitz – this isn’t a toy with rigid instructions or rules; it’s something to be explored, reworked and remixed endless times. When a child opens a box of Bizzy Bitz, they open their mind to a world of creative possibilities.”
Tom Copsey, project manager at InVision Advertising, added: “Bizzy Bitz was an interesting project for us.
"We wanted to tell the story of how Bizzy Bitz offers parent-approved imaginative play for all ages and to showcase how children can create anything their creativity permits – from simple models to more intricate, complicated feats of engineering. The end result is a creative concept which perfectly demonstrates the freedom and fun offered by the product.”
The television advertising campaign ends on April 13th.
