Retail reaction to role-play back packs debut is 'enormously positive.'

Harry and Jacks targets toy shops with Adventure Pack Jetpack

Start up pre-school firm Harry and Jacks is reporting ‘enormously positive reaction’ to its Adventure Packs following its retail debut on Amazon.

Encouraged by the response and early sales of the jetpack themed backpack, the family-run company is now targeting toy retailers to stock the product.

Aimed at three to six year olds, the Jetpack is designed encourage role play among children, while allowing them to ‘transport their own toys and treasures on their imaginary adventurers.’

“Our Jetpack is currently retailing on Amazon in the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain with five star reviews and an independent toy shop in the Cotswold area,” Emma Williams, founder of Harry and Jacks told ToyNews.

“It is early days for us but sales and reaction on amazon has been enormously positive. We feel we have created a really exciting and innovative product that would fit equally well within the children’s department of a major retailer or within an independent toyshop.”

Described by Williams as a ‘labour of love’ the Jetpack Adventure Pack took the team 14 months to develop from initial design to manufacture to shipment to the UK.

Harry and Jacks now confirms that it has another eight designs in the pipeline for the Adventure packs range, with the next scheduled for release this autumn.

“2014 is about introducing Adventure Packs to the market and developing and adding to our range,” continued Williams.

“We are creating so much more than just a practical backpack, we are creating an experience and sense of adventure every time kids wear one of our packs.”
