Head of operations and sales for the show will depart in April for his own marketing and events business.

Simon Pilling to leave Toy Fair role

Simon Pilling, head of operations and sales for Toy Fair, is to leave his role at the end of April, the BTHA has confirmed.

Pilling has worked on the event since 2008 and is leaving to start his own marketing and events business – Warway Pilling.

"Simon has been a great asset to the BTHA and we are all very sad to see him leave," said Roland Earl, director general of the BTHA. "We plan to utilise Simon in his new capacity as a consultant to Toy Fair and we wish him all the very best in his future endeavours."

The BTHA is now seeking a replacement for the role.
