Mask making company picks up Small Business of the Year and Team of the Year accolades.

Mask-arade scoops double win at Pride of Stratford Awards

Mask-arade has added to its list of accolades, scooping a double win at the Pride of Stratford Awards.

The mask making firm collected the Small Business of the Year and Team of the Year trophies at the ceremony, which took place at The Holiday Inn in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Dean Walton, marketing director, said: "It was an incredible night. We were particularly pleased to receive the Team of the Year award as it recognises the fantastic group of staff that we have at Mask-arade."

Mask-arade has been working with The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust preparing a range of licensed products ready for Shakespeare Week – the charity’s new campaign to celebrate Shakespeare in primary schools nationwide taking place between March 17th and 23rd.

"We are proud to support the local area and our partnership with the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is one that we are particularly excited about," commented licensing director, Ray Duffy.

The company is now hoping to use its awards success to help spread the word about Stratford and Shakespeare around the globe.

Walton continued: "It’s almost as if The Bard was sending us a message when he said ‘God has given you one face, now make yourself another’. Several million in fact."
