Flying Toys captures Spring Fair 2014 on film with AR Drone 2.0

Flying Toys took on the role of Spring Fair’s resident camera crew as the UK distributor filmed Birmingham’s toy and gift fair with its wi-fi controlled Parrot AR Drone 2.0.

The drone was launched to the skies to capture some of the show’s exciting new products on offer, including Martin Grossman’s Moving Creatures and Spirit of Air’s collection of kites.

With live demonstrations of the Parrot AR Drone 2.0, Flying Toys managing director, David Rawlins reported interest from the West Midlands Police, who "believe the product could be used to assist with crime prevention."

The distributor also used the show to launch its new collection of animated DigiBirds, a collection of interactive birds from Silverlit that when brought together can tweet in unison with a repertoire of 24 different tunes.
