LEGO Ghostbusters “well into development”

LEGO Cuuso has revealed that the Ghostbusters 30th anniversary set is now in development and is expected to be released later this year.

Having reached 10,000 supporters on the LEGO Cuusoo site last summer, Brent Waller’s project moved into the Review stage, where a board of LEGO designers, product managers and team members scrutinised the concept.

The result, the LEGO set, featuring the characters Peter Venkman, Ray Stanz, Egon Spengler and Winston Zeddemore, along with the Ectomobile and Slimer the Ghost, is now "well into development" by the LEGO Group.

It is still to be confirmed whether all elements of Waller’s concept will be used in the final product, with product images, pricing and availability still being worked out.
