Families in Bracknell were treated to a free pool party hosted by LEGO Friends, as part of the brand’s pre-Christmas marketing campaign.
The event, featuring appearances from a One Direction tribute band and LEGO Friends building sets, was promoted through local schools, the local radio station and local newspapers.
Kids and LEGO fans were given the chance to win LEGO Friends sets through competitions throughout the night, while each child went away with a LEGO promotional item and a LEGO Club Magazine.
A spokesperson from LEGO, said: "Our aim is to get bricks into children’s hands and give them a positive LEGO build experience.
"These activities introduce young girls to LEGO Friends and to the joy of building. Introducing the brand in this way breaks down any barriers to building and reinforces the fun that this play can bring.
"We will continue to look at how we can become involved with girls in their hobby environments."
