LeapFrog treats school kids to toy industry learning day

LeapFrog employees took a trip back to school this week, visiting young local pupils to help develop children’s understand of business and the toy industry.

The day of activities saw year six pupils of Granton Primary School in South London guided through a series of tasks designed by the LeapFrog team.

The kids were asked to make a firework using recycled art materials while the LeapFrog team helped guide them through the steps taken between having the idea and seeing the finished product in stores.

Furthermore, the pupils were given advice from each team member involved in the development process, including finance, marketing and sales. They were then invited to pitch their product through a presentation.

Sally Plumridge, marketing director at LeapFrog, commented: "As a company, not only do we want to help children in their educational development, we also want to invest in their future on a personal level and this was a great opportunity to do just that and give something back to the community.

"A great day was had by all and we were thrilled to be able to help the children of Granton."
