National press reports this morning are suggesting that online retailer Amazon could be looking to take advantage of the extra space left at London tube stations, once the ticket offices are closed in 2015 as part of the 24-hour running plan.
The FT reported that Transport for London had confirmed it was talking to Amazon about converting its ticket offices – which will be closed in favour of automatic ticket machines – to ‘drop off’ points for its goods.
