Hasbro’s latest reincarnation of its classic board game Monopoly has risen from the grave, with Monopoly The Walking Dead.
Based on the popular graphic novel by Robert Kirkman and the internationally successful television series from AMC, the board features art work from Kirkman along with zombie-themed chance cards and locations from the series.
Monopoly The Walking Dead follows the same basic principles as the original game, but instead of buying houses and hotels, players must buy walls and guard towers to fortify their property against zombie attack.
The player pieces are also themed as items and includes Michonne’s katana, Rick’s hat, Negan’s barbed wire wrapped baseball bat, Dale’s 1973 D 27C Winnebago Chieftain RV, a telephone and a bucket of limbs.
Curently only available in the US, the game retails at $39.99 from ThinkGeek.
