Clementoni strikes deal with Mattel for Barbie, Monster High and Max Steel puzzles

Clementoni has struck an exclusive deal with Mattel to manufacture a range of Barbie, Monster High and Max steel puzzles in the UK next year.

The agreement emerges as the firm continues its growth in the UK, strengthening its presence in the UK Toy market.

A statement from the international firm read, ‘puzzles is a key area for Clementoni and with the licenses already performing well in the market, the firm is confident the puzzle ranges will perform well.

‘A complete range for all the licenses has been created and products have already had strong reaction from retail.’

The firm said: "This is a significant step forward for the company and our relationship with Mattel as a licensor. We are delighted to have the opportunity to bring these puzzles to the UK market.

"We are really pleased with the reaction we have had so far from retail."

The puzzles will be available to the UK market from January 2014.
