Popular CGI animated web series Barbie Life in the Dreamhouse is set to premiere on Nickelodeon this month with a 22 minute special.
The series, which follows the life of the fashion doll and her friends, has already had more than 550 million views worldwide, and Mattel looks forward to this increasing as the show joins the Netflix roster in December.
Barbie Life in the Dreamhouse recently celebrated its fourth season with more scheduled for 2014 featuring new content for older girls and a new product range to compliment the series.
A statement from Mattel read, ‘the series offers girls an all access pass to Barbie’s world and reinforces brand engagement through content delivery.’
The show is currently translated into 21 different languages across the globe.
