Lalaloopsy makes UK TV debut in new Nick Jr show

MGA Entertainment has partnered with Nick Jr for a new UK TV series based on the award-winning Lalaloopsy dolls range.

The first episode aired on Tuesday, and the series is made up of 52 22 minute episodes which aims to promote diversity, friendship and teamwork.

The show has already enjoyed success in the US and was rated number one on Nickelodeon for girls aged between two and five years old, and in the top three shows on Nick Jr. for all age demographics.

Characters appearing in the UK series include Mittens Fluff ‘N’ Stuff, Bea Spells-a-Lot, Rosy Bumps ‘N’ Bruises, Jewel Sparkles, Peanut Big Top, Spot Splatter Splash, Crumbs Sugar Cookie and Dot Starlight.

“We are really excited to bring Lalaloopsy to UK TV screens and to partner with such a well-known children’s TV channel," said Andrew Laughton, managing director at MGA Entertainment.

"The US TV series has proved a storming success and we are sure our partnership in the UK will propel the Lalaloopsy brand to further new heights.”
