Mask-arade celebrated a ‘triffick’ day this week as the fancy dress specialist opened a new centre with the help of Only Fools and Horses star, Boycie.
The opening ceremony for the new distribution hub in Warwickshire adopted an Only Fools’ Peckham vibe, complete with the Nags Head bar, Del Boy ‘cushy’ cocktails and a yellow three wheeler.
Boycie, AKA actor John Challis was invited to carry out the official opening ceremony on the new centre next door to the firm’s headquarters.
The personalised and celebrity mask making firm, now celebrating its fifth year in business, made the £200,000 investment after another year of growth.
Mask-arade director, Dean Walton, said: "It has been a great year for Mask-arade, particularly with sales of our One Direction licensed products.
"We have also secured licenses for a number of the world’s leading football teams including Chelsea and Manchester United. To keep up with demand, we have had to expand the business and open a new distribution hub.
"We decided that there wasn’t a better theme than Only Fools and Horses – which is one of our most successful range of masks."
During the open day, more than 100 people enjoyed cocktails and entertainment as well as the chance to meet Boycie for signed copies of his books – assured not to be knock off.
Mask-arade’s company directors, Dean Walton, Ray Duffy and Chris O’Nyan, first met Challis after launching their licensed Only Fools and Horses range featuring Del Boy, Rodney, Boycie, Trigger, Uncle Albert and Marlene.
