Flair to push GP Tech’s Appen with Tech in the Toybox campaign

Flair has launched a Tech in the Toybox campaign to help push the GP Tech brand and the Appen.

The campaign will begin in late September with a regular e-newsletter entitled ‘What’s APPening?’.

The newletter will bring readers product information, games and activities, as well as advice from child psychologist, Doctor Amanda Gummer, on how to introduce tech toys into younger children’s playtime.

This will be backed by a two-week campaign on, a stream of display advertising in the parental press and pre-school activity across the UK.

The GP Tech brand will also be appearing at The Gadget Show Live in the first weekend of November with tech toys demonstrated in the Toyzone.

“We are delighted to have Dr Gummer on board with our Tech in the Toy Box campaign," said Holly Lackey, girls and tech marketing manager at GP Flair.

"Her input and the planned print and online activity will go a long way to introducing the GP Tech brand to parents and will support the Heavyweight TV campaign which launched in early September.

“The GP Tech brand has exciting times ahead of it and APPen is the first of a whole line of affordable but feature packed products to be launched. 

"From late 2013 and through 2014 there will be a steady flow of new launches, upgrades and downloads and our newsletter and online activity will ensure information to the target market of these great products will be continuous.”
