Company claims early signs suggest the new range will be a hit in the UK.

‘The Zelfs can mirror The Trash Pack’s success’, says Moose

Australian toy firm Moose Toys is confident that its new Zelfs doll range can rival the sales of its most successful property to date: The Trash Pack.

The Trash Pack has established itself as one of the most successful collectible brands on the market, and the firm believes The Zelfs will appeal to a growing collectable sector for girls.

“The Trash Pack has grown immensely since 2011 – from the extensive global licensing programme we’ve developed for the brand to the two new sub-brand product lines inspired by it,” co-CEO of Moose Toys, Paul Solomon (pictured) said.

“From early sales reads and online buzz from collectors and bloggers we are confident that The Zelfs will mirror the initial success of The Trash Pack this Q4. We anticipate that The Zelfs will be a must-have collectable item for years to come.”

Solomon continued: “With Zelfs of all colours, sizes and styles, there is a high collectability opportunity. The collectability and playfulness is what we believe will differentiate The Zelfs from what’s currently in the market.”

Moose Toys has seen a steady growth in demand in the UK market, and, working with Character Options, plans to push this with an extensive marketing campaign.

“We have a comprehensive marketing campaign in place starting this month with TV advertising. Throughout the fall and holiday season, we will continue to reach parents and children via consumer events and promotions at retail, as well as online.

“A Zelfs magazine, school campaign and collector posters, and sampling will round out the campaign later in the year,” Solomon concluded
