The Good Toy Guide’s Dr Amanda Gummer has announced the firm’s first ever Retailer of the Month to be Chester’s Toycraft Traditional Toyshop.
The independent store has its own website and High Street shop, and has been selected by the firm for its dedication to promoting play through its toy selection.
‘With knowledgeable staff and a commitment to stocking well-made, well designed toys, Toycraft is a great example of a toy shop that represents the values of the Good Toy Guide’, read a statement from the firm.
Gummer explained: "We are all about promoting play and championing good toys and we want to support retailers who do the same.
"We’re thrilled to have such a shining example as our first Retailer of the Month and are sure there will be many others to follow.
"We’ve had lots of interest already and it’s great to see retailers using us as a buying guide."
As Retailer of the Month, Toycraft will now receive stickers to put on all the store’s products, a certificate to display, branded plaques, a profile page on www.goodtoyguide.com with a buying link for ten of the store’s toys, as well as free advertising on the site.
Bev Luca of Toycraft, said: We are thrilled to have been chosen as The Good Toy Guide’s first ever Retailer of the Month.
"Toycraft is a family run business established in 1965, so we have many years’ experience in providing good quality, traditional toys that are educational and stimulating as well as brilliant fun."
The Good Toy Guide celebrates its first anniversary this month.
