The Entertainer will open six new stores in the UK this autumn.
The new shops will create around 60 new jobs and the stores will see Ben 10 character Water Hazard offer goody bags to everyone who buys something on the opening day.
The stores will be opening in the following locations:
Leamington Spa, Royal Priors Centre on September 14th
Plymouth, Drake Circus on September 28th
Shrewsbury, Pride Hill on October 12th
Woking, Wolsey Walk on October 26th
Livingston, The Centre on November 16th
Banbury, Castle Quay on November 23rd
The Entertainer has opened 35 new stores in the last three years and the firm believes sales are set to rise from £112 million to £125 million as a result.
“This year we have seen solid growth across the UK; we opened our first Scottish store in Glasgow in the Summer and this current programme of store openings sees us expanding The Entertainer brand far and wide," said Gary Grant, managing director and founder of The Entertainer.
"We have carefully selected shopping centres that provide our stores with a strong retail position and attract large numbers of family shoppers who are demanding more toy shopping choice. We look forward to bringing joy and wonder to more children across the UK and we have plans to increase our stores even further.”
Away from the High Street, The Entertainer’s website is also enjoying growth and online sales now make up more than 15 per cent of the total sales for the firm.
