Game release is supported with the UK's first Digital Disney Parade of London

Disney characters projected on Cliffs of Dover to celebrate Infinity launch

In celebration of the release of Disney Infinity, Buzz Lightyear, Jack Sparrow and a cast of other Disney characters took part in the first ever Digital Disney Parade in the UK.

Seven of the most renowned Disney characters were projected onto the White Cliffs of Dover, marking the arrival of the new gaming system that allows players to create their own adventures with the collectable characters.

The illumination stood 80 metres high and 500 metres wide, making it the biggest projection in the UK. The parade then took to London, with Disney projections running across the capital’s cityscape.

The parade’s full line-up included Buzz Lightyear and Jessie, Jack Sparrow and Davy Jones, Mr and Mrs Incredible, Mike Wazowski and Sulley and The Lone Ranger and Tonto.

Joss Hastings from Disney UK, commented: "Disney Infinity creates a virtual toy box where fans can play with all their favourite characters together and design their own adventures.

"What better way to celebrate the launch of the game in the UK than with the first Digital Disney Parade, showing the characters making their own fun in London."

Disney Infinity is available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.
