Nerd Corps plans global expansion for Slugterra following Channel 5 premiere

Nerd Corps is eyeing global expansion of its action comedy animation Slugterra following its successsful premiere on Channel 5 on Saturday, August 3rd.

The popular boys’ animation made its UK debut on Disney XD in March this year, and currently boasts 39 episodes following the adventures of Eli Shane and his friends as they battle evil with duelling magical slugs.

The brand also currently enjoys toy support from Jakks Pacific, with a line of blasters, dart packs and collectible slug figurines launched at Smyth’s, Toys R Us and The Entertainer. Smyth’s is also on air sponsor for the series on Disney XD.
