Disney Baby, Fisher-Price and Warner Bros. Consumer Products among firms pledging support.

Sponsor line-up revealed for Progressive Preschool Awards

Max Publishing has confirmed a number of top name sponsors for the inaugural Progressive Preschool Awards in November.

Companies on board as award sponsors include Fisher-Price, Disney Baby, Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Carte Blanche, H&A, Intertek, Luma Creative, Misirli, VMC Accessories and VTech. Comms agency Little License to PR, which is handling the publicity for the event, will also sponsor the Marketing Award.

"We are delighted to be supporting the Progressive Preschool Awards," said Wendy Hill, UK director of customer marketing and brand communication, Fisher-Price. "It is a great new initiative that really celebrates the very best in the pre-school market."

The awards are free to enter and are made up of eight product categories. To meet the entry criteria, products should be targeted at 0-5 year olds and must have launched at UK retail between July 16th 2012 and July 15th 2013. The deadline for product entries is August 23rd.

In addition, there will also be opportunities to enter nominations for ten retailer awards and one marketing award. The closing date for the marketing award is August 30th, while the retailer awards will close for entry on September 2nd.

The Progressive Preschool Awards will take place on Monday November 11th at The Dorchester Hotel, London. Tickets are priced at £170 (+VAT) each, or £1,700 (+VAT) for a table of ten and £2,040 (+VAT) for a table of 12.
