Retail Week reports that plans are part of CEO Philip Clarke efforts to turn around the retailer.

Tesco senior management to be hit by job losses

Around 50 staff in senior management positions at Tesco are facing job losses, Retail Week has reported.

Those in consultation are at levels three, four and five – just below board level – and include Tesco marketing director Ian Crook and Tesco Mobile chief executive Roger Fogg.

Chief executive Philip Clarke is currently trying to turn around the fortunes of the supermarket giant following a drop in profits. He has introduced a plan called Building a Better Tesco.
