Founder Stephen Haines cut a blue ribbon to officially open the new shop

Carte Blanche store enjoys packed opening day

Tatty Teddy & My Blue Nose Friends were in attendance for the opening of the Carte Blanche store on Saturday, and it enjoyed a busy first day of trading.

Carte Blanche chairman and Founder, Stephen Haines, cut a blue ribbon to officially open the store at The Marlands Centre, Southampton and crowds flocked to take advantage of the opening day deals.

All shoppers left with free balloons and gift vouchers to be used on their next visit to the store.

"We are thrilled to welcome Carte Blanche to The Marlands," said Tim Keeping, Marlands general manager.

"As the crowds proved on Saturday, the store is certainly a pull to shoppers and we feel sure, with the exciting events, launches and promotions the Carte Blanche team have planned, that the store will continue to be a must visit destination within the mall."
