Creative Toys’ marketing manager Sal Georgiou is leaving to join US marketing start-up Reignition9 as senior marketing consultant.
Georgiou joined the Creative Toys in June 2012 and was responsible for launching and marketing SoccerStarz, the toy brand that has gone on to sell two million units.
"Working with Creative was a great experience. I had the opportunity to develop the overall marketing strategy and implement it, in a friendly and progressive environment" says Georgiou.
"However, it is time to move on and pursue other interests outside of Creative".
Georgiou’s position will be filled internally by Dominic Hanley who had been working alongside Sal Georgiou on SoccerStarz.
“SoccerStarz now has amazing product awareness. I wish Sal well with his future plans," added Mark Stinchcombe, head of toys at Creative Toys.
Georgiou will be officially leaving the company on 31st July 2013 and joins Reignition9 for its launch on September 1st.
