New LEGO Galaxy Squad range to launch at National Space Centre

The new LEGO Galaxy Squad range will launch at the National Space Centre in Leicester on August 3rd.

Working alongside the National Space Centre, the day will encourage visitors to lend a hand with the construction of a giant LEGO Galaxy Squad mosaic and enter build challenges to win the new products.

The event will also give consumers the chance to meet a LEGO certified builder.

The launch forms part of the National Space Centre’s LEGO Summer, which runs between July 13th and September 1st. The event will see visitors take part in the Big LEGO Building Challenge which invites people to ‘build a whole galaxy of LEGO.

Weekly winners of a Challenge prize draw will take home a special LEGO prize.

"The National Space Centre is the perfect attraction to partner with, and launch our new space theme, LEGO Galaxy Squad, this summer," said LEGO UK brand manager, Eloise Kurtis.

"This launch will introduce the brand, allowing us the opportunity to engage with visitors who are LEGO fans and have a strong interest in space."

The Galaxy Squad is the space themed LEGO brand following one fearless team of heroes determined to rid the galaxy of evil alien space bugs.
