Talking Tom app developer Outfit7 is on the hunt for licensors and toy partners to be a part of its new property codenamed Tom On The Road.
The new brand – launching globally in October 2015 after being teased in Q4 2014 – will include TV, home entertainment, live events, attractions, merchandise and mobile/web categories. It wants to partner with licensors in toys, publishing, apparel and homeware categories.
It will see popular app character Talking Tom hit the road with his cast of furry friends. The new property "expands the characters’ loveable and interactive nature to be seen, heard and touched by fans in a whole new way".
The news comes after the Talking Friends brand celebrates one billion mobile app downloads and more than 600 million views (including user-generated content and YouTube videos).

The Talking Friends property resonates with families, as well as boys and girls aged six to 12.
