Meroncourt Europe has struck an agreement with Italian toys and games manufacturer Clementoni to become its new UK distribution partner.
Already a member of ToyMaster, Meroncourt has built a vast selection of toy, educational and outdoor activity product lines over its last 12 months.
And the distributor sees Clementoni as an important part of its planned growth in the toys and games markets.
E-commerce and creative marketing manager for Meroncourt, Chris Bradley, told ToyNews/Licensing.biz: “Meroncourt is extremely excited to be announcing its partnership with Clementoni and bring its excellent range of toys and games products into [Meroncourt’s] growing customer base and product selection.”
The product range from Clementoni currently includes pre-school toys and games alongside educational learning and arts and crafts sets.
The company, established fifty years ago by Mario Clementoni also holds a host of leading brand licenses, including Hello Kitty, Monster High and Disney with a variety of creative and scientific kits.
Bradley added: “Products such as these are important to a child’s development, but they need to be fun to increase a child’s desire to learn – this is something that Clementoni absolutely understands.”
