Firm adds e-commerce coordinator and graphic designer to team.

Brace of new hires for Bigjigs

Bigjigs Toys has further bolstered its headcount, welcoming two new team members.

Sarah Rowe-White has joined the company as e-commerce coordinator, with the remit of helping to reverse the devaluation of the Bigjigs Toys brand, which has occurred through third party websites in recent years.

Rowe-White previously spent three years working in the marketing department at West Designs.

She will now be responsible for Bigjigs’ listing and management of products across all third party websites.

Meanwhile, Helen Van Lane has replaced Laura Killick as graphic designer. Killick has left the company to move to Australia.

Van Lane joins from a local charity where she has been working with adults who have physical and learning disabilities, alongside working as a freelance graphic designer. She has previously freelanced for Marvel, working on the design and input of children’s magazines.

"We are delighted to have both Sarah and Helen join the ranks at Bigjigs Toys, albeit while we lose a valued member of staff in Laura," said Sam Ireland, operations manager. "These appointments will no doubt be a great asset to the company and we are looking forward to having them in the Bigjigs family."
