John Lewis adds Linkee

Family trivia game Linkee has hit the shelves of 20 John Lewis stores from today (Monday May 20th) – and will roll out nationally to all branches from the summer.

The news comes just eight months after the game launched. It is alreadu stocked in a number of independent toy and game stores throughout the UK and online.

Work has also begun on the second edition, featuring 100% new and crowd-sourced question cards. The team is also developing a version for younger children – Dinkee Linkee – which stays true to the co-creation ethos by involving schools in the question creation.

"For Linkee to be selected by John Lewis is absolutely brilliant news for two reasons," said the firm’s Tristan Williams. "First, we really wanted to get Linkee into John Lewis, it feels like a great honour to be in there, and, two, our parents aren’t looking at us like we need to go out and get a proper job any more. Which is nice."

Scott Bartle, gift collections at John Lewis, added: "We are always looking for innovative products to delight our customers and Linkee fitted the bill perfectly."
