Mattel links with Chitech for Barbie and Hot Wheels lines

Deal will see Chitech produce a range of wheeled toys for the two properties.
The ranges will include bicycles, tricycles, scooters and skateboards and accessories including helmets and knee and elbow pads.
Chitech sales and marketing director Maxine Rushton said: “Partnering with leading brands such as Barbie and Hot Wheels is testament to Chitech’s expertise in the design and production of premier sporting goods.”
Mattel Brands licensing director Claire Atherton commented: “We are delighted to be working with Chitech and look forward to strengthening both the Barbie and Hot Wheels licensed portfolios with an exciting range of high quality outdoor products.”

This latest contract follows Chitech’s launch recently of a range of BMX bikes for sports enthusiast, Tony Hawk.
