Family Gamer TV's Andy Robertson looks at why the LEGO Jurassic World game has the potential to be a bigger proposition than the film.
Having shown off nearly 300 different sets at New York Toy Fair, the LEGO video-games are getting some attention this week. Warner drew the curtain back on some LEGO Jurassic World game-play and with it more details on the game.
It will be available on the usual set of formats (this pretty much covers all the main systems with the exception of the original Wii) and offer a combination of brawling, puzzling and platforming action.
Although titled around the upcoming movie the video-game will include the three previous films as well: Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park III.
This makes the game not only a bigger proposition than the film but also eclipses the scope of the physical LEGO toys which focus on the movie tie in with just Jurassic World.
As you can see in the comparison video above there is still a lot of similarities between the video-game models and the physical product both in terms of characters, dinosaurs and vehicles.
LEGO Jurassic World the video-game is expected to be released in June with LEGO Marvel’s The Avengers coming later. It also seems likely that there will be another game this year that could well be Star Wars Episode VII, but this is unconfirmed.
Other LEGO video-games getting a fresh lick of paint include the Mixels app which has recently been updated with new levels and features ready for the upcoming seasons.
