US: Major retailers pick up Rollors

The outdoor toy makes its way into Toys R Us; UK distribution still needed.

Rollors is an outdoor game where players must roll wooden disks towards a color coded goal.

The likes of Toys R Us, Target and Amazon, as well as other US national retailers, are selling Rollors, which has an RRP of $26.

The game is the creation of US war veteran Matt Butler, who came up with the concept for the game while serving overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan.

During his down time while serving in combat operations, Butler sketched the game pieces, created the rules and brainstormed his business plan.

“This is a game that people of all ages can enjoy together and can be played in teams or as an individual competition, says Matt Butler, Rollors' inventor.

“What really amazed me is how fast the game really caught on.”

Butler adds that wholesale are retail orders are now starting to roll in.
