Upper Deck International inks deal with Tomy

The firm has appointed Tomy as the exclusive distributor for all Upper Deck products in the UK and Eire.

As of February 1st 2010, all Upper Deck products currently available to UK consumers will be available via Tomy Europe’s distribution network.

Both Tomy and UDI have built their reputations upon high quality, innovative toys and games and the synergistic values of the two organisations will allow this new arrangement to benefit retailers and consumers alike.

UDI brands currently available in the UK include Dinosaur King Trading Card Game, Huntik toys and trading cards, Disney Scrolly, World of Warcraft trading cards and miniatures, Spongi, Crazy Soundz and Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s toys.

Tomy will build on the foundations laid by Upper Deck International’s UK branch, which will close on January 31st 2010.

A smooth transition from the current operating procedure is assured, with UDI having taken appropriate steps to inform all affected parties, guaranteeing consistency of the high-quality service their customers have come to expect.
