Uki joins forces with Netmums

The activity on the parenting portal is part of a month-long campaign to promote the CBeebies show.

To raise awareness for Uki and guage opinion on the show, a question has been put to the Netmums community, asking: What do you think of the CBeebies show Uki?

The conversation thread appears on the site's Coffee house forum and Facebook page, together with links to an online competition to win Uki merchandise.

The show's creators, Universal Music Belgium, hope to get parents and kids interacting with the brand with printable colouring-in sheets and the Uki’s World iPhone App.

Simon Price, senior director new business at Universal Music Belgium, said: “A perfect partnership for Uki, Netmums offered a creative and fun vehicle through which to actively involve mums in the Uki phenomenon.

“The power of the internet to appeal to and recruit Mums is growing as word of mouth is crucial when communicating to this influential audience.”
