UK's first Subbuteo Challenge Cup to be held at Chelsea Football Club

Finals will be held at National Football Museum in Manchester on October 19th.

The first ever Subbuteo Challenge Cup is coming to the UK this summer with qualifying rounds taking place at Chelsea Football Club.

Leeds United Football Club will also be hosting the qualifying round of the free to enter tournament, welcoming players of all abilities.

The Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum in Glasgow will play host to the Scottish Championships on July 13th and 14th.

winner from the three knockout rounds will then take part in the Final on October 19th at the National Football Museum in Manchester.

Mark Watson, event manager said, "We are delighted to be holding this national tournament for Subbuteo fans of all ages - and from all areas of the UK.

"This is the first public Subbuteo table football tournament for nearly 20 years and we are expecting a great response following the extremely successful revival and re-launch of the game last year."

Subbuteo is manufactured by Hasbro and distributed in the UK through Paul Lamond.
