Thumbs Up opens offices in France and Germany

Expects European business to generate 30 per cent of global revenue by 2012.

Thumbs Up, the West London gift, gadget and toy company, has expanded its European operation by opening new offices in France and Germany.

Both sites are equipped with a local stock warehouse and a dedicated sales and marketing team. Thumbs Up says the offices will open up distribution avenues in France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria and Luxembourg.

Francois Grelot heads up the French operation, while Robert Penin will look after business in Germany. The pair each have over 20 years experience in the distribution industry.

German partner Penin said: “We researched the gift and gadget market extensively before committing to our investment and we identified that Thumbs Up are absolutely the right strategic partner for us."
