Spin Master expands Hatchimals with new toy line

New Hatchimals Egg Cartons and Glittering Garden products are expected to drive sales in AW 2017.

Spin Master has revealed new expansions to its Hatchimals line in the form of the Egg Cartons line and Hatchimals Glittering Garden.

An enhancement to the highly-anticipated line of Season One Hatchimals Colleggtibles, the new glittery Hatchimals Colleggtibles Egg Cartons are available with 12 and 2 characters and are filled with uniquely adorable mini speckled eggs and collector's list. The Colleggtibles Two-Pack Egg Cartons contain exclusive Special Edition Glittering Garden Hatchimals Colleggtibles with six to collect in all, while the 12-Pack includes an exclusive Flamingoose.

In addition to the expanded line of Hatchimals Colleggtibles, the brand announces the unveil of Hatchimals Glittering Garden, which re-introduces a pair of original characters. Fans can now find these full-sized Hatchimals on shelves in shimmery eggs.

“We are thrilled by the current success of the Hatchimals brand globally and the introduction of Hatchimals Colleggtibles. We know collectibles are a rising toy trend, and we are pleased to offer the hatching experience at a low price point with over 70 to collect,” said Ben Gadbois, president and COO of Spin Master. “As we continue to develop and innovate the Hatchimals brand into an evergreen global property, our fans now have more offerings through brand extensions, and licensing programs to build their own Hatchtopia.”

“Spin Master has yet again managed to deliver market leading innovation, but this time at a collectible price point,” commented Stuart Grant, buying director at The Entertainer. “Hatchimals Colleggtibles have managed to capture the magic and excitement of the brand, and the current success rate puts Spin Master and Hatchimals in a great position to be at the top of 2017 Christmas wish lists.”
