Shop Direct teams with DHX for exclusive Teletubbies campaign

Starting this week and running until April 17th, the event has already seen Shop Direct increase its range of Teletubbies toys and accessories

Online retailer Shop Direct has partnered with DHX Brands in an exclusive Teletubbies sponsorship deal for the Shop Direct Baby and Toddler event.

Starting this week and running until April 17th, the event has already seen Shop direct increase its range of Teletubbies toys and accessories to include bedding and blankets from Character World as well as its Teletubbies Crayola range.

The hit pre-school brand will be featured prominently throughout the Baby and Toddler event on al the Very and Littlewoods platforms, email marketing materials and digital ATL activities.

Emma Carden, pre-school and outdoor toys buyer at Shop Direct, said: “Teletubbies continues to be an important brand at Very, where it is currently our fourth biggest pre-school license.

“The new products we’ve seen for 2017 look great, so with plans to further expand the range as well as bespoke marketing campaigns, we anticipate that Teletubbies will drive a significant amount of volume this year.”

Charlotte Hill, senior brand manager at DHX Brands, added: “Following Teletubbies’ inclusion as lead pre-school brand in the AW16 campaign, and Jumping Po’s inclusion in the three for two campaign over the Christmas period, we are delighted that Shop Direct has demonstrated an increased commitment to growing the brand.”
