Sambro opens new southern base

Sambro South signals another key milestone for the business and demonstrates its continued expansion and commitment to its partners, allowing the firm to host retailer previews, licensor and supplier meetings.

Sambro is approaching the end of 2017 with one of its most anticipated launches to date, the opening of its new premises in High Wycombe.

Sambro South signals another key milestone for the business and demonstrates its continued expansion and commitment to its partners, allowing the firm to host retailer previews, licensor and supplier meetings.

The premises were officially opened on October 25th by Elmo who represented just one of Sambro’s newly licensed properties for 2018. The event also played host to many of Sambro’s licensing partners including Disney, Hasbro, Nickelodeon, CPLG and Universal.

Sambro South is situated at Peregine Business Park, High Wycombe and has easy transport links to Central London.

Tom Duffy, managing director at Sambro, said: “Every year we say this has been our best year nut 2017 was always a pivotal time for us to expand the business on a global scale.

“Sambro South signifies not only our intent to make a huge impact on the toy industry but it’s also indicative of how rapidly we are achieving this goal.

“We are really looking forward , driving the business and I am confident with the brilliant team we have that next year could be our best yet.”

Grant Gie, commercial director at Sambro, added: “A southern base for Sambro has always been in our plans and while the Greater Manchester head office will remain our key headquarters in terms of our buying, sales, product development and warehouse capabilities, the Southern satellite office and showroom, Sambro South will make us even more accessible.

“With senior team members including myself and more key personnel hires, we hope to ensure that all of our customers and licensor needs are met by providing them with a service and transparency that is second to none.”
