As the industry prepares once again for the delights of Harrogate and annual Toymaster Show this May, we kick off the month by delivering you our retail special issue of ToyNews.

In this issue we take a look at what toy retailers - as well as the wider toy and children's entertaiment industry - can do to help and encourage and aid children with mental health issues, before taking a look at the latest crackdowns agains counterfeit toys.

We also revisit the topic of Brexit and - now with a general election on the horizon - gauge just what the industry's position is on the subject as well as tallking to the Retail Champion, Clare Bailey as she explores the current health of Britain's high streets and the factors affecting it the most this year and beyond.

Meanwhile, this month's Toy Shop UK tackles the subject of own-label toys and just how much they are impeding or increasing sales of big name brands among the UK's independent retailers.
