Re:creation has announced that it's Razor brand portfolio more than made its mark on the skates/skateboard/scooter category in 2016, scooping all top five spots by value for the final quarter of 2016.
The brand's ultimate ownership of the electric scooter arena shone through with both evergreen favourites E90 and E100 taking the top spots and late 2016 launch HoverTrax 2.0 achieving a number three position, the only 'hover board' style product to get a look in in the top ten.
"These latest figures reveal Razor's domination of the category, and this really pays testament to the brand's dedication and passion for innovation and quality of design," said Re:creation's senior brand manager, Katy Fletcher.
"The fantastic results seen for HoverTrax 2.0 in the US offer us an incredible insight to the potential of HoverTrax 2.0 for the UK. It’s evident that consumers see the Razor brand as a representation of quality, safety and innovation.

Re:creation’s marketing plans to build on this success include heavyweight TV, PR and digital communications, as well as event activity. Among the Razor brand's fans is online toy review star Tiana of ToysandMe whose recent video showcasing HoverTrax 2.0 amassed over a million views in just two days.
