Rainbow details major TV and cinema ad push ahead of Paddington Movie sequel

The campaign will span both the small and big screen with exclusive adverts for the new Paddington Movie scheduled for TV throughout the autumn, ahead of the release of the new movie this November.

Rainbow Designs has detailed a major new advertising campaign for its new range of Paddington Movie plush toys.

The campaign will span both the small and big screen with exclusive adverts for the new Paddington Movie scheduled for TV throughout the autumn, ahead of the release of the new movie this November.

The advert launched in September and will now receive two further weeks of airtime, covering the October half term. Starring two of the new 2017 feature plush lines, Dance Paddington and Cycling Paddington along with a range favourite, My Name is Paddington, the campaign features both ten and 20 second adverts.

The campaign covers popular channels such as Disney Junior, Milkshake, Nick Jr. and Tiny Pop.

A comprehensive cinema campaign is also in place. A 30 second commercial will appear on Pearl & Dean cinema screens for four weeks, week commencing October 30th and span the premiere of the film.

Suzie Howes, head of licensing and marketing at the Home of Classic Characters, said: “This is the first time that Rainbow has put such a TV campaign in place but the timing and audience is perfect and with such a fantastic product range, we wanted to ensure it was supported in the marketplace in the best way possible.”
