The firm has headed back to the crowdfunding platform to launch a new line of play maps and activity books.
Primo Toys, creator of Cubetto, has smashed its latest Kickstarter campaign for a new line of play maps and activity books.
In just under four hours, the firm reached its original crowdfunding goal of $100,000.
A year after its initial, record-breaking $1.6m Kickstarter campaign, Primo Toys has returned to Kickstarter to launch the themed maps and story books: Polar Expedition, and Swarmy Swamp – the first two in a series of expansions set to be released throughout 2017.
“It was a flagship day for Primo Toys,” said Filippo Yacob, CEO of Primo Toys.
“We knew our community wanted more content, more maps and more adventure to go with their Cubetto. We didn’t know we would get to our $100,000 Kickstarter target in three hours and 38 minutes. It’s always moving to see how much our work matters to our customers, and how passionate our supporters can be. We are blown away.”
Following this, the firm has been selected by Kickstarter to participate in Kickstarter Gold – a celebration that recognises an enormous milestone for the crowdfunding platform: passing over $1 billion in pledges to repeat creators.
To mark this, Kickstarter will launch a series of camapigns from June 20th to July 31st, spotlighting creators as they run new projects.
