Paul Lamond taps into UK's Escape the Room challenge craze with new launch

Paul Lamond is now looking to bring the experience to the living room with the launch of Mystery at the Stargazer’s Manor in June.

Paul Lamond Games is tapping into the UK’s growing Escape the Room obsession with a new party game inspired by the real-life puzzle solving challenges.

The craze has swept the country over recent months in which teams challenge themselves to escape variously themed rooms by solving a number of riddles and puzzles.

Paul Lamond is now looking to bring the experience to the living room with the launch of Mystery at the Stargazer’s Manor in June.

The Escape the Room concept originated from the video gaming market and quickly moved into real venue challenges across the UK. In 2015 there over 2,800 real-life room escape challenges across the UK.

“This is a growing and exciting market,” said Richard Wells, sales director of Paul Lamond Games. “These games sit perfectly with out current portfolio and we are really looking forward to bringing this style of party event to the UK market.”

The Mystery at the Stargazer’s Manor escape the room party game is for three to eight players aged ten and upwards and will take approximately 90 minutes to play.
