The toy firm is hoping to attract more indies as it puts a bigger focus on the High Street by offering unique products, such as its first augmented reality playmat.
Known for its extensive range of educational toys, Eduk8 is using 2017 to bring its wide-spanning toy lines to more indies and international markets.
Having already acted as a major supplier throughout the UK, Eduk8 is looking forward to bringing more products to the High Street for indie retailers to enjoy.
“We believe that our exclusive, award winning range will appeal to the independent looking for something different, as our unique designs are not available elsewhere,” Christine Lawson, MD of Eduk8, told ToyNews.
“We are at the forefront of new developments and always keep ahead of the game. Retailers can have confidence that by coming to us, they will be able to offer the latest developments in the toy industry that their customers are looking for.”
As the company gears up to expand its business even further, it seems fitting that Eduk8 is now dipping its toe into the smart toy space, with the launch of its first augmented reality playmat.
With plans to unveil the new playmat at London Toy Fair next week, guests will be able to experience first-hand Eduk8’s plans in the toy industry.
Lawson continued: “We are moving into smart toys with the launch of a new 3D augmented reality playmat at Toy Fair.
“Retailers can be assured that all new territory is fully mapped and created via one strong relationship.”
With new larger offices based in Northumberland and additional sales members joining the company, it looks likes Eduk8 is already on the way to a successful 2017.
