Registrations for next year's International Toy Fair are higher than this time last year.
Many of the industry’s major companies will be present when the toy industry meets in the Nuremberg exhibition centre next year.
Ernst Kick, chief executive officer of Spielwarenmesse, commented: “The companies have confidence in the number one among the world’s toy fairs, especially in a challenging market environment.
“The present number of registrations therefore clearly confirms its role as the most important marketing instrument for our industry.”
The fair is also introducing new areas of focus in 2010, with an increasing emphasis on baby and infant products. Toy traders find a varied range of baby toys and baby articles from more than 200 suppliers in Nuremberg.
Spielwarenmesse is also introducing a newly developed hall and visitors will receive a targeted guide that leads them to all exhibitors with baby articles.
Spielwarenmesse eG is also opening up the Way to School for international stationery and school article manufacturers with its third edition of this special area.
The Nuremberg team consistently brings together the interests of manufacturers and traders and works to continue to improve the fair.
